Sight Loss Support Groups
The WILL Center hosts and participates in several area sight loss support groups. During these meetings individuals and family members are introduced to resources, low vision aids and peers who are visually impaired. During the meetings guest speakers provide the latest information in the field of visual impairment.
All these events are open to the public. Below is a list of meetings and locations:
The WILL Center is pleased to announce that they will host a quarterly sight loss support group meeting from 10:00–11:30am at the Lion’s Club “Clubhouse” located at 106 West Washington Street in Sullivan, IN. The meetings are free, open to the public, and designed for those dealing with vision loss, family & friends of someone with vision loss, or caregivers of any person with some type of sight loss.

The WILL Center Low Vision Program is pleased to announce a quarterly support group meeting in Knox County. These meetings are aimed towards individuals with some form of visual impairment featuring resources, training, assistive technology and other information related to “Living with Low Vision”.
These Living With Low Vision group meetings run from 10:30 A.M to 12:00 P.M. The meetings are organized by The WILL Center’s Low Vision Program, which offers assistance to those over 55 with visual impairments in a 12-county area, and will be held at the Knox Co. Public Library’s Outreach Building, at 509 N. 7th Street across from the library’s main building.

There will be a “Living with Low Vision” meeting held on the third Tuesday of the month at the Life Builders Community Center located at 701 East Washington, Greencastle, IN from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Feel free to bring a friend or family member to this meeting.
